Change of Direction

Hi there - after a long absence, I've decided to restart this blog by concentrating on giving my view of life, in Scotland, as I see it. I live in the south-east of Scotland, about 20 miles east of Edinburgh, our capital city, in East Lothian. The village I live in is surrounded by golf courses, 8 at the last count, and by the sea, to the north.

Big Shed

I am in the process of constructing a large shed in my back garden, which is taking up rather a lot of my spare time. It is a log cabin type of construction, it came as a big flat-pack on the back of a truck. All the bits and pieces were unloaded by hand to the back garden. Each log is tongue grooved and notched, so that they all fit together, one on top of each other. I am now at the stage of trying to felt the roof. more later

This is my first attempt to use a blog of my own.
I run a website called Scotland's Source ( www.scotlandsource.com )
which has information about Scotland, funny enough, and other information pages.
I include Google ads on my pages in an effort to recoup some of the running expenses.
